    A common dilemma one faces before entering the college life is choosing which course and

    degree to take. Choosing a college course impacts your future, so it is important for you to
    make the right decision. Earlier this 2018, about 1.3 million students comprised the first batch
    of K-12 graduates in the Philippines, according to the Department of Education. These senior
    high school graduates add to the population of potential college students. Incoming college
    students tend to focus on which field of study to take. However, it is also important to be
    familiar with college degree types, specifically the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts
    (BA) degrees. As a K-12 graduate, you must learn the differences, fields of study, and purposes
    of BS vs BA degrees to help you choose the right course for you.
