    Dear Mrs. Cruz,

    I am writing this letter to apologize for not minding my responsibility as a student, as I was not
    able to take your exam at the scheduled time, because I had connectivity issues and my load is
    not enough to access canvas because I was traveling. Also, it didn’t come to my mind to
    message you and let you know that I am out of the house.I know this excuse is not valid and I
    understand the consequence of my actions, and am truly sorry for it.

    I will do my best next time and won’t repeat the same mistake again.
