Midterm, and Math Exam Instructions

General
 Photo ID is required at check in with your proctor.
 The exams must be taken in a supervised area.
 The midterm and math exams may be taken at separate times if you like but each one
must be completed in one sitting when it is begun. (Arrange times with your proctor).
 Books or notes are not permitted
 A non-programmable calculator is permitted but not essential.

Midterm Exam
 The midterm and math exam are online computer exams.
 Login into the course, select Midterm Exam to open it for password entry.
 The password which is case sensitive will be entered by the proctor to access the
midterm exam.

 There are 50 questions on the midterm over Units 1-6. Each question is worth 2
points.

 There is a one hour time limit on the midterm which should be sufficient time as you
should pace yourself at 1 minute per question.

 The midterm grade will be entered in your grade book on the computer after you take
the exam so you can see your score right away.

 You may review your test results immediately after your test is submitted at the same
proctored testing session. This is the only opportunity that you have to review the
exam.

Math Exam - The math exam is a 30 question online exam with a 1 hour time limit.

 This is a secure exam. The proctor or test center will enter the password.
 All math answers should be entered as a number that is no greater than to the tenth
place. So an answer of 3.4 is fine but not 3.44.

 Never include the units in the answer. So if the question asks how many mL the
answer is 2.5 not 2.5 mL.

 Always include a zero before the decimal if the answer is in tenths. So the answer
would be 0 .5 not .5
