:

1. What will be the solution if the side of the bored holes collapse into the hole. (The area is
swampy)

: Underground condition is always unforeseen. The solution also depends on the actual problem
encountered. Small collapse of bored hole is normal for bore pile and not affect the production.
Normally, the hole collapse can be controlled with different procedure; ranging from the speed of
boring, increase of specific gravity of the mud, increase the water head pressure, etc.
2. What will be the solution if the holes are flooded with ground water.
The hole will always have water and not be a problem.

3. Will the head of the bore machine accommodate the diameter of the steel casing plus the design
cover? (Your comment noted).

1200 mm is the finished diameter of the pile not of the steel casing. We hope the drawing makes you
more clear.
A Gantt chart helps in knowing what activity is being performed at what time so it does not
inconvenience anyone. Please insert correct dates and submit for us to follow thoroughly the construction
of this very important tower.
This is a normal bored pile foundation. However, all underground works associated unforeseen ground
conditions. The pile depth and boring progress depends on those underground conditions. Therefore,
actual program cannot be forecasted. For your reference the tentative program for one hole is attached
herewith.
