1.1 Product performance structure and components.

Shadowless Operating Lamps is LED(hereinafter referred to as operating lamps),composed
mainly by ceiling decorative cover, rotating assembly, rotary arm, spring arm, a large C-arm, a
small C-arm, lamp holder, optional external camera, mid-mounted camera, monitor, shadow
management functions, adjustable color temperature function.The head is EXLED 7500 or
LED5500 lamp ,or a combination of the two lamp.

must take effective anti-static measures, including wear anti-static clothing and shoes, and the
connection process remains grounded, or use an anti-static gloves, such components may be

1.4.3 Safety Requirements of Installation

Indoor ceiling or beams ‘s load which use for install the lamp must be greater than 4 times
the weight of the overall shadowless.Using AC 220V power supply circuit, and with the zero line
and the phase circuit can simultaneously cut off the power switch. Power circuit and the power
switch can withstand the power should be able to ensure the safe use of shadowless.

1、Basic requirements
Surgical shadow less light is specifically equipment which ceiling mounted on operating
room roof, so basic safety placement is particularly important. The products are available on
request to a base load 500 kg static load, and has sufficient rigidity to withstand the load and
ensure rigidity.

Note: Buyer is responsible for implementation of the basic construction and safety

2.1、 Preset plywood Size
Plywood processing 4 Φ14 hole, evenly distributed in

2.2、Ceiling Splint
Put a plate on top and bottom of the ceiling,
fix the splint with the M12 bolts, nuts, spring
washers, flat.

2.3、 Ceiling embedded type

The construction of the ceiling hook bolts will
be four rings (M12) in-ceiling mount, ring hook bolts
must be welded. The location of the hook bolt ring
size requirements of the construction according to

The plywood and angle iron are welded firmly,
drill a hole in the beam, then fastened on the beam

2.6、 Basic versatility

2.7、 High operating room solutions

If operating room height is over 3.2 m, you must install long shelf on plywood, the user can order the long
shelf
2.8、 Power wiring requirements

Surgical shadow less AC power requirement is 220V ± 10%, 50Hz.
Households in the operating room wall mount power switch (10A) and fuse (8A), the power switch must be
cut-off dual-phase and neutral at the same time. Power wiring should be from the power switch to the base
plate. Power line safety carrying capacity is 15A.
WARNING: The power supply ground wire must be reliable. And set up a separate safety ground wire
and link protective earthling terminal of surgical shadow less.
Note: The power switch should meet IEC328 requirements, our company does not configure the power
switch

1、 Packing
Our EXLED series shadowless operation lamp haveEXLED7500/7500 dual , EXLED7500
single, EXLED7500/5500 dual, EXLED5500/5500 dual, EXLED5500 single l and so on other
product specifications.

2、 Unpacking
Please check the packing box according to product model, if the box or boxes missing
objects damaged, immediately contact with transport provider.
Open rotator, balancer and lamp box, take out polystyrene packaging and surgical light each
part. Please click in the box carefully check the packing list, if it is missing, please contact the
company immediately.

3、Equipment installation
WARNING: Check again the base plate , to ensure safety.
Check adequately electrical connection and security, to ensure safety.
In strict accordance with the following requirements and procedures for installation

3.1、Mounting Back plane
Screw the base plate 4 M12 nuts on the mounting plate, 4
holes set into the foundation slab of the four screws, screw on
the flat washers, spring washers and nuts. adjust under the
nut, so that mounting plate is horizontal. Tighten the top four
nuts.
3.2、 Mounting rotating body

Screw 4 pcs M12 nuts on the mounting plate , set 4 pcs
holes into 4 pcs screw of foundation slab. screw on the flat
washers, spring washers and nuts. Adjusting underneath nut,
Make the rotating body is horizontal and tighten the nut.
3.3、Mounted balancer 1
Remove pan head screws of the balancer and rotating
body junction,Insert electrical appliance of rotating body into
hole, screw the screws.
Caution: Do not remove the additional two countersunk
head screws.

3.4、Mounted balancer 2
Remove 4 pcs nuts balancer ， put the balancer
into rotating hole， revolve 4 pcs screw.
3.5、Mounted lamp holder body

Unscrew the screws of balancer front protective cover,
push up protective cover and pull out the moon-shaped
retaining ring
Push connecting axis of lamp holder and
balancer into coupling hole of balancer front,pressed into
the moon-shaped retaining ring, push back protective cover ,
screw the screws.
CAUTION: moon-shaped retaining ring must be
completely pushed into the slots。
3.6、Loose the balancer’s positioning screw

Lamp body are installed, in connection with the lamp
and balancer, Push forward the plasti cap of the front balancer
with hex wrench balancer, then loose balancer ‘s socket head
cap screws. Head will jump to the appropriate location.
Warning: locating pins in the lamp body relaxation must
be carried out after installation, it will damage to structural
components balancer, when balancer no load to loose locating
pins because of strong compression force, the balancer
bounced rapidly

3.7、Installed Switch power supply

Remove the four screws on the power supply switch,
installed the switching power supply in the rack and fix using
four screws
Note: Press the wiring diagram of the rotating body and
the network switching power supply in order to be securely
connected, connect the protective ground wire. Check the
voltage selector switch power button should be within the
network stalls on the supply voltage.

3.8、Install the top cover
Loosen screw the on the top cover fixing ring ,Make top
cover fit on the rotating body, and with six self-tapping
screws to join the top cover。
Close the top cover fixing ring and the top cover fixing
ring steps set into the hole in the top cover, push the top cover
to the top of the rotating body chassis flush, or flush with the
ceiling, tighten the retaining ring inside the top cover hex
screws.

Note: Lamp body rotation tension has been adjusted at
the factory, under normal circumstances, users no longer
have to make adjustments

五、 Daily operations
1.1 Preparation before operation
Before each use surgical light should:

■ Indoor temperature and humidity environment meets the requirements

Pls install disinfection handle according to the following methods：

1、As shown below, Fixed the disinfection handle along the inner handle direction
and push disinfected handle ,then rotate around disinfection the handle until

disinfection handle without shedding signs

arms control panel buttons

lamp shade management functions,activate the shadow management functions by
pressing arms control panel button,after that, the system will automatically adjusts the
brightness of each LED according to the head blocked situation to ensure that the
surgical field illumination.

above, EXLED5500 largest center illumination up 80000lx more.

1.2 Cleaning / Disinfection

Cleaning / disinfecting for surgical lamp, should be noted:
1.Do not use the following substances cleaning / disinfectant
■ Release halogen compounds
■ Strong organic acids
■ Oxygen release compound
2. Clean the inside of the device, only use cleaners, you can not use alkaline or chlorine
releasing disinfectants, or may corrode equipment

� Cleaning / disinfection glass panel under lamp head should pay attention to from the inside
(center) wipe out, do not wipe in a circular motion or back and forth to avoid scratching the
glass surface.
� After each patient use, should do cleaning / disinfection for glass panel under lamp head and
at least weekly to ensure clean / disinfected once
� Cloth for cleaning / disinfecting surgical lights do not infiltrate cleaning / disinfectant, to
avoid short circuit caused by liquid infiltration.
1.4 Disinfection handle maintenance
1.4.1 Maintenance frequency
After each use, the handle should be removed for cleaning / disinfection / sterilization.
1.4.2 disassembly methods
Disinfection handle
Operator disassemble disinfectant handle according to the following method:

1. Fixed head with one hand
2. With your other hand hold the disinfection handle, and hold the button on the bottom of
the handle (1), pull the handle down.

1.4.3 Cleaning / Disinfection
Use the disposable cloth to wipe disinfection handle, prepare for the high-temperature steam
sterilization.

Warning
� Disinfection handle after sterilized should be installed before use

� During sterilization do not allow disinfection handle to load, otherwise handle permanent
deformation will occur
� Disinfection handle will be some wear and tear after a certain number of sterilization use, If
found handle have some signs of damage, such as cracks, discoloration, etc., should be
replaced with new handle
1.5 .Adjust System

1.5.1 .Adjust Damping Force
If surgery lamp can not reach the required position,can adjust damping force of surgical lights
swivel arm and balanced
� When the rotary arm and the balance arm linkage ,can adjust by the two damping
screws (A) of rotating body
� When the balance arm moves too flexible, can adjust by two damping screws on the
bracket (B) of rotating extension arm

Pay Attention
� After adjusting, must ensure that the damping screw B corresponding joint have priority
damping screw A corresponding joint rotation.
1.5.2 Adjust the balance arm
Warning
� When adjusting the balance arm, it will limit the height of its fixed at approximately 10 °to
the horizontal position, so as not to cause injury balance arm bounce
Adjust the balance of gravity

When the surgical lights can not positioned at any height, should need to re-adjust the balance
arm bearing capacity
1. Take 5mm hex wrench into the adjustment hole
2. Rotate hexagon socket screw
� When the surgical lights up drift, rotate hex wrench counterclockwise
� When the surgical lights drifting downwards, rotate hex wrench clockwise.

Adjust the height limit
When the surgical lights vertical movement limit is inappropriate, take hex wrench into the
hole to adjust:
� When the lower limit, rotate the hex wrench clockwise
� When the limit is raised, rotate the hex wrench counter-clockwise .

Pay Attention
� When adjust the height limit, pay attention to the distance between lamp and ceiling.
3.5.3 Adjust the C-arm

When the C-arm and surgical lights can not locate at any position, can adjust connector (A)
and the intermediate connector (B):

1. Adjustment connector (A)

� Loosen the four screws and rotating sheath 90 °.
� Use a 5mm hex wrench to turn a damping screws and adjust the damping size.
� Revolve the sheath cycles in place, re-tighten the four screws.

2. Adjust the middle connector (B)
As shown below, using a 5mm hex wrench, rotate two damping screws and adjust the damping
size

included in this chapter fault, or try troubleshooting methods listed below after the fault

2、 Replace fuse
Open the top cover of the rotating body, replace the switch on the power supply fuse.
Operation depending Chapter "Installation operation shadowless" relevant sections and attached.
Fuse: RT1-20 6.3A 250V
Note: The fuse can be ordered from the Company.
Warning: When replacing the fuse must be cut off mains supply.
3、 Inform service provider or the our company
After remove above malfunction, if operation shadowless lamp still does not work,
please notify the situation in detail by our local authorized service provider or the Company's
maintenance department, we will remove the malfunction for you in the shortest possible time .
