This week, I had to prepare for the upcoming exams next week, so I was asked by my
resource teacher to photocopy the test papers. She asked me to come to the computer
laboratory where she was working on some paperwork. I went there and tried to operate the
photocopy machine for the first time. After my first attempt, I was able to successfully
photocopy ten pages of the first subject's test papers. And then 43 more and then I needed
to photocopy again and put it back-to-back, and I was worried about how to do it correctly.
So, I printed extra copies and experimented until I figured out how to do it properly. Once I
found the right method, I was happy that my experiment had been successful. After
finishing the first subject's test papers, I moved on to photocopy the test papers for the
other subjects. However, when I was almost finished, the photocopy machine suddenly
stopped working, and a bond paper got stuck inside. I didn't know what to do, and I was
afraid that I might damage the machine.

Insights

First I turned off the machine and then without hesitation, I bravely stuck my hand inside the
machine to retrieve the stuck bond paper. Unfortunately, the bond paper had torn into
pieces, making it difficult to remove all of them. It was a very stressful time for me, and it
tested my patience. However, after more than an hour of opening the machine and
retrieving the torn pieces, I was able to fix it and get the machine running smoothly again.
Finally, I completed photocopying all the test papers, and I learned a lot from this
experience. I now know how to photocopy back-to-back and how to fix a photocopy
machine when a jam occurs. It was a challenging day, but I am glad that I was able to
overcome it and finish my job successfully.

In conclusion, It sounds like I had a challenging day with a lot of unexpected obstacles, but
we need to persevered and learned some valuable lessons in the process. It's always
satisfying to overcome a difficult situation and come out the other side with new knowledge
and skills.
