ি�য়ািবেশষণ / িবেশষেণর িবেশষণ / ি�য়া-িবেশষেণর িবেশষণ / বােকয্র
িবেশষণ যা �ারা Noun বা Pronoun ছাড়া অনয্ েয েকান িকছু র েদাষ,
গুণ, অব�া, সংখয্া, পিরমাণ, �ান, কাল ইতয্ািদ বুঝায় তােক Adverb
বেল। অনয্ েয েকান িকছু বলেত েসটা Adjective, Verb, Adverb
অথবা Sentence বা Clause (খ�বাকয্) হেত পাের।
 He walks fast.
 You are walking slowly.
 He is very good.
 He walks very fast.
 Actually, he is not good.
 If you work hard; certainly, you will pass.
 He came yesterday.
 He went there.
 He turned pale.
 He has not yet come.
 At that very moment, my mind became
completely blank.
 He runs fast.
 He came first.
 He went mad.
 You are 50, yet you are my baby.
 He has just arrived.
 It was not just.
6. Preposition
Pre = পূেবর্
Position = অব�ান
Preposition = পূেবর্ অব�ান
যা Noun বা Pronoun এর পূেবর্ অব�ান কের অনয্ানয্ Word এর সােথ
স�কর্ ৈতির কের, তােক Preposition বেল।
on, of, for, after, before, in, at etc.
েকান শ� Preposition হওয়ার জনয্ শতর্ ২িট। যথা-
1. পূেবর্ অব�ান
2. স�কর্, not সংেযাগ
o He lives off the town.
o His hands were cut off.
o He is rising up the hill.
o One of the frogs rose his head up.
o The patient died after the arrival of the doctor.
o The patient died after the doctor had come.
o He bought a shirt for his father.
o He is absent, for he is ill.
7. Conjunction (সংেযাগ, সংেযাজক অবয্য়)
 যা দু'িট শ�, শ�গু� (Phrase), খ�বাকয্ (Clause) বা বােকয্র মেধয্
সংেযাগ ৈতির কের, তােক Conjunction বেল।
 and, or, but, if, though

 He runs after money.

 The price of fuel is up again.
 As we were climbing up the narrow mountain road, we
could see the sea below.
 She put the books up on the highest shelf.
 They waited for us till the sunset.
 He was disappointed, for he was forsaken by his friends.
8. Interjection (অ�ভাবমূলক শ�)
যা �ারা মেনর আকি�ক আেবগ, অনুভূিত ইতয্ািদ �কাশ পায়,
তােক Interjection বেল।
 Hurrah, Alas, Fie, Oh, Ah etc.
 Hurrah! We have passed.
 Alas! He failed.
