A. The Rise of Japanese Traditional Culture
Traditional Japanese culture is the result of a long history spanning centuries. In addition to shaping its
own culture, Japan also adopted the culture of other regions in ancient times. One of them is adopting a
culture from China, which is a neighbor of Japan.
Kanji characters as well as Buddhism is a Japanese adoption of culture in China. Japan’s cultural history
was also shaped by the nobles of the Heian Period. In this era, the Shogun and Samurai were the leaders
of society to create a culture that can still be seen today.
The culture of this Samurai heyday is an example of the tea ceremony and shoin architecture. It is
undeniable that China has a strong enough influence on the formation of Japanese culture. However, as
Japan's own culture grew stronger, the influence of Chinese culture slowly faded.
Japan began to form its own script known as Kana in the Heian Period. This proves that Japan has begun
to be independent at the end of the Classical Age. In addition, the emergence of the arts of calligraphy,
flower arrangement, and martial arts also signifies that Japan continues to shape its own culture.
The journey of Japanese cultural history and traditional culture is often associated with a concept called
Dou, which means road. The culture created by both arts and martial arts is not a place to compete for
strength or expertise. However, more to the value of beauty and spirituality. Therefore, Dou has no end
and will stick with it for a lifetime

forgotten. We can learn many things from Arab culture, the importance of its rich culture,
conservative habits and unique customs
B. Important, Function, and Family in Arabs Culture
1. Arabic and Its Influence
Arabic is one of the languages that has influenced the English language a lot. One of
them is found in several words that start with the word "AL" such as, algebra, alcohol,
alchemy, alkaline which all come from Arabic. In addition, there are many other words
that do not start with the word "AL" but are also known to be derived from Arab
countries, such as loofah, amber, tariff, arsenal, coffee, sofa, and others. These words
come from Arabic. Not only that, the number system we use today was also introduced
by Arab traders to the west
2. Family and society in arabic culture
Arab families are close to each other and will share a lot of time together doing many
things. The family often takes precedence over the individual. Especially when the honor
and reputation of the family is at stake, Arab families work together to support each
other and gain recognition within the family.
As in general, in a family there are traditional gender-based structures and roles in
which men are responsible for making a living for the family and women are responsible
for raising children and managing the house. This can vary depending on the country
and the time in other parts of the world.
No matter what age you are, you must always respect your parents, this is also true in
families and societies where parents must be respected. This respect for elders is strong
and is practiced formally and actively
