The Day 1 of the project was something I was eating as normal. As a single man living

by himself, I was always aware of my not so healthy eating habits. One of my friends who is a

big fan of the gym and always seeks for his health told me to only consume 1200 Kcal a day but

eat anything I like within the calories. This never made sense to me by then but now I see what

he truly wanted to say to me as he wanted me to have proper 3 meals a day in the sense of

having an equal meal everyday.

As you can see from my 7 days chart, I’m only focused on the night snack or dinner as

I’m a big fan of delivery food wherever I live. This is something I should be changing since I

would like to maintain my lifestyle in balance. The first few days of this project, I don’t want to lie,

I was only putting all the menus, not calculating them all. I would put all the food menu I had that

day in my notebook then I would consider calculating it later. I knew my choice of meal was

always something tasty that nobody would deny to have but to be careful. Since I live in the

area where I can easily get food out of the restaurant, the convenience I have is more likely to

influence me.

Even back in Korea, I was always able to get food from any open restaurant at any hour.

I was always in bed until late at night and waking up in the afternoon then the first thing I did
was to open the application on my phone. In Korea, since everything was so convenient that I

never thought of this easy lifestyle could ruin my eating and sleep habits. After taking this

project seriously after a few days, I’m proud to say that I will be able to control myself and from

now on, actually learn how to eat healthy. Cooking at home was never fun but now that my

cousin is living with me, it wouldn’t be that much of a problem for me.
