 KESIMPULAN
❖Secara umum, industri furniture Vietnam dan Indonesia mempunyai banyak
kemiripan dari sisi tipe produk yang dihasilkan. Namun, dari sisi volume ekspor,
Vietnam masih lebih besar.
❖Indonesia mempunyai spesialisasi di furnitur berbasis rotan, yang ditunjukkan
dengan market share dari dunia yang tinggi.
❖Banyak industri furnitur Indonesia yang bersifat Sunrise, yang mengindikasikan
bahwa beberapa produk furnitur Indonesia sedang tumbuh industrinya, namun
masih membutuhkan produktifitas yang lebih tinggi untuk menyaingi Vietnam.
❖Peningkatan produktifitas bisa didapatkan melalui investasi, transfer teknologi,
atau bersinergi dengan industri di negara lain.
❖ Untuk target pasar, dari top 20 negara tujuan ekspor furnitur Indonesia dan
Vietnam, 15 negara diantaranya adalah negara yang sama. Indonesia perlu lebih
giat dalam melakukan diversifikasi pasar agar dapat memaksimalkan potensi
industri manufaktur dan memperluas jangkauan ekspor produk furnitur
Indonesia.
