Of course, the fundamental principles of Plato and Aristotle were that the state is an end in itself and

not merely a means for the achievement of some other ends. Plato's notion of justice and Aristotle's
different forms of rule can be analyzed to justify that any society's ultimate goal is to have civilized life
under acceptable social inequalities.

If we starts with plato, he says that something performs better if it is based on natural talent. So,
specialization is the one reason enables the society to survive in a better way. For plato, justice in a
society is pursiued as an end foritsown end. To justify this claim, Plato comes up with an idea of what
would look life life in a perfect state. Individuals in a society by nature has various needs necessary for
survival, such as cloths, shelter and food. So, how each individuals can satisfy those multiple needs? For
plato, to satisfy those basic needs, human beings must divided the lobor into different kind of jobs so as
to produce those different materials. In this regards, each individuals must have only one job and
specialization in orer to perform well. Thus, the existence of multiple needs and individuals are
insufficient to provide, they must come together to form a society in which basic material can be
produced and exchanged.

According o Plato, society is therefore composed from three different kind of specializations, i. e.,the
rulers, solders and workers. There must no intervention of these natural specialization and they are
complementary partners. The rulers must rule with the support of wisdom, the solders serve the society
with courge and the workers must produce materials with prudent. Nobody dominates or intervens
on/in others other specializations. In such a society, each individual must do according to their natural
talent with the help of those virtues. The possession of those virtues according to the natural talent
enables the society to exercise justice since no one will intervene in the specialization of others. This is
how the society maintain ustice by minding once own business and proceeds to civililized life under
acceptable social inequalities.

Aristotle says that every state is the community of some lower associations that are insufficient to
survive. All associations have some natural function and end; accordingly, the state also aimed at the
highest end or goals in which every member of that state benefited according to their social classes.
Thus, the state as a political community aimed to pursue and realize the highest good for its members. It
is the end of all association of humankind. He argued that a different form of rule in a given state
depends on the kind of association.

According to Aristotle, as mentioned earlier, people come together to form some association to achieve
some goal. The relationship between the state and other associations is according to the ends naturally
entitled to them. And the state reached achieving the highest goal due to the participation of those
other associations within it. In other words, the first component, as an association, of the state is family.
The family has its natural function and a form of rule. It is the union of those who, without each other,
cannot exist, i.e., male and female, to continue the generation. A human being has a natural desire to
procreate him/herself. Thus, even though it is the lowest association, the family has an end naturally
endowed with its form of rule. For Aristotle, the best form of family rule is monarchical, in which the
husband has the ruling role over the household, whereas the wife has a consulting role. The children
must obey the command of the father.

The second natural union with its natural goal is the association of master and slave. In other words,
they will exist together as a master and a slave because they are mutually interdependent. According to
Aristotle, like the mind commands the body, the master must command the salve, and this association is
natural. The master and the slave cannot exist without each other. Thus, those who can not command
themselves requires a master, and it is the rule of nature. or an object to be the best at its job, nature
commanded each thing with a different goal. Slaves need to be commanded to do things they were
naturally endowed to do. The master, on the other hand, devoted his time to cultivating his mind for a
superior goal, i.e., gaining knowledge that enables to civilize the state in general for the perfect life of
all.

Thus, several villages that are insufficient by individually come together and the state comes to exist to
satisfy the final goal, i.e., the good life. The state is self-sufficient, and it turns into a political community
that the final goal will be realized, which is civilized life under social inequalities.
