Why this course?

 I'm interested in studying about computer programming and designing and


develop new programs.
 The present world focuses on innovation and computing applications and
there is hardly any field that has been untouched by technology.
 The transformation for the digitalization of business and society is
increasing rapidly.
 Even during the pandemic, digitalization increased promptly which
increased the demand of computer science students

Who are your sponsors?

 My parents are financially stable and they will be sponsoring me for my


study and stay in the states. They have a saving of $43K dollars allocated for
my college which is enough to cover my expenses for almost 3 years
 My father is a senior level professor in the government school and college
and he earns around $30k dollar per annum
 My mother is also finally stable she owns the largest clothing store in my
hometown and earns more than $20k dollar per annum
 We also have a house where we receive $10k as rent per year and a car as
some fix assets.

Plans after graduation?

 I have planned to return to my country and set my career as a software


developer in a reputed Nepali IT companies like Mercantile, F1soft
International, Link tree, EB pearls and more.
 I also have a plan to establish my own IT Company in my hometown later in
the future but first I will be focusing on gaining experience by working in
different reputed IT companies.

With University of Cincinnati in the first place,
Youngstown State University in the second place,
and University of Akron in the third place.
 I’ve been awarded with International President’s Award worth $7k which
covers almost 50% of my tuition and around 20% of my living expenses.
 This university has been on a research in the field of computer science
where undergraduate students like me can get opportunities to gain
insights into the practical issue of the subject.
 I also interacted with some of my seniors who graduated from this
university in computer science major and found out that this university has
a unique teaching style with highly technologized computer labs and I was
also told that the professors are amazing and they put a lot of effort on
each individuals
 So, Youngstown State University best aligns with my interests and all of my
academic credentials perfectly match the requirements of this University

Where do you intend to stay?


 I intend to stay On-Campus in a housing option called Lyden House which
can be a home for 334 resident

Why not Nepal?

 The technology in Nepal is not up to date.


 The course curriculum is traditional and it mainly focuses on theoretical
knowledge rather than practical skill.
 We don’t have global exposure and degree of Nepal have low
employability

Why not any other country?

 In other countries tuition fees and living expenses is extremely high as


there is less scholarship opportunities for international students.

Why should I issue you visa?

 I qualify for student visa and I will be using the visa for completing my
studies
 I intend to depart the US after I complete my studies
 I have sufficient resources to pay for my study and stay in the US

Have you filled dv form?

 Yes, I have filled dv before. It is a privilege that the US government provides


and I can take full advantage of it but that doesn’t mean I intend to stay in
the US. I am aware of the type of visa I receive and the responsibility I need
to fulfill.

Your basis of return to Nepal?

 My parents have huge investment in my education and being the elder


daughter I have plenty of responsibilities towards them.
 With the increasing need of skilled manpower in the ongoing development
of Nepal, many jobs are being provided in different companies where I can
seek employment.
