You must write the question numbers and the corresponding answers. No need to write the whole
question out! Make sure you give the right answer with the right question. Please take note of the
marks allocated for each question. The shorter questions’ marks are an indication of how many
points your answer should cover. Note that if a question gives an author and date it means that the
answer can be found in that prescribed article. If no author or date is mentioned, the answer comes
from the Study guide. You must use the study guide and the relevant prescribed article/s to answer
your 25 point essays.
Your exam paper should have a cover page with:
1. Your full name
2. Your student number
3. The module code
4. The module name
5. The date of the exam
You must complete a Departmental Honesty Declaration and attach it to your portfolio. The
Honesty Declaration can be seen under Annexure A in this paper. For your convenience though, we
have attached the Honesty Declaration in MS Word under Additional Resources on the DVA2603‐
22‐S2 site. Complete it and copy it into your portfolio right at the end of your exam paper. You do
not have to sign your name. You can just initial it ex. SB.
You must type your whole portfolio in Ms Word and then convert it to PDF. Make sure you do NOT
‘password protect’ your document and that you upload the CORRECT pdf to the Exam portal. No
handwritten scanned portfolios wil be accepted.
Plagiarism will be severely penalised. You are NOT allowed to copy and paste sentences or
paragraphs from your study guide, prescribed articles, tutorial letters or feedback comments from
an assignment marker into your answers. You must paraphrase. You may also NOT contact other
students during your four‐hour exam period or share answers.
This module is using the Invigilator app. Please make sure that you have read the document ‘The
Invigilator App – Student user guide ‐UNISA’ thouroughly to ensure that you know how to use the
Invigilator app. Make sure that you scan the QR Code for the exam in the 15‐minutes window period
before the exam commences.
