Greek Mythology

Materials:

⚫ Poster board (B4 Size Paper)

⚫ Markers, colored pencils, or crayons

⚫ Glue

⚫ Scissors

⚫ Pictures or printouts of your chosen topic from Greek

mythology

Steps:

1. Choose a topic from Greek mythology that interests you.

Some examples could be Zeus, Athena, Medusa, or the Trojan

War.

2. Research your topic to learn more about it. You can use books

or the internet to find information. Write down some key

facts about your topic on a piece of paper.

3. Find a picture or printout of your topic. You can draw your own

picture or find one online. Print it out or draw it on a separate

sheet of paper.

4. Take your poster board and write your topic in big letters at

the top of the poster.

5. Using the information you wrote down earlier, write a small

history or summary of your topic in your own words. Use

markers, colored pencils, or crayons to make it colorful and

fun to read.

6. Cut out your picture or printout of your topic and glue it onto

the poster. Make sure it's in a place that makes sense with

your written summary.

7. Add any other decorations or details to your poster to make it

stand out. You can add more pictures, draw your own

illustrations, or use stickers.

8. Once you're happy with your poster, show it to your teacher

or classmates and share what you learned about your topic

from Greek mythology!

Note I: Relative Pronouns


⚫ To give more information about a person use the word “who” after the
noun and the extra information.
Ex 1.
Simple sentence: The English teacher is his mother.
If we’d like to add more information about “the English teacher”, we
have to put the word “who” after the noun.
→ The English teacher who has short hair is his mother.
Ex 2.
Simple sentence: The lovely girl is dancing so beautifully now.
If we’d like to add more information about “the lovely girl”, we have
to put the word “who” after the noun.
→ The lovely girl who is only 3 years old knows how to dance.

Note II:
⚫ To give more information about an animal, a place, or a thing, use the
words “that” or “which” after the noun and the extra information.
Ex 1.
Simple sentence: I had a watch.
If we’d like to add more information about “a watch”, we have to put
the word “that/ which” after the noun.
→ I had a watch that (which) my mom bought for me.

Ex 2.
Simple sentence: This is the board game.
If we’d like to add more information about “the most interesting
game”, we have to put the word “that/which” after the noun.
→ This is the board game that (which) George teaches me how to play.
