A person's mental illness can also harm a driver's mental skills, as can an altered state of consciousness. One study on cell phones and driving safety concluded that, after controlling for driving difficulty and task time, drivers who talk on the phone show greater distraction than drivers suffering from alcohol poisoning. In Indonesia, there are many accidents caused by teenagers who are affected by alcohol, this is what makes the accident rate in Indonesia increase due to the lack of awareness of parents who should limit their children's driving.
