REFLECTION

Before the work immersion began, our beloved two teachers, Mrs. Leizel Mendez and Miss
Cyrell Sampaga, declared an orientation about work immersion, its ethics and rules, and what
every student must have in the actual workplace. They also tackled the rights and responsibilities
of being an intern student. During orientation, I clearly understood the main purpose of work
immersion in every student's life, including mine. How it will help us grow more and improve
our career skills. To gain knowledge and valuable experience by giving us opportunities to work
in the real workplace and become familiar with our future career. I learned from both of them
that, as intern students, we really need to follow the rules, like wearing proper attire and working
professionally, to gain a better future. Working in society comes with a lot of responsibilities,
which is why we need to focus and enjoy the work with all our hearts to be a good role model for
everyone. One thing I have never forgotten is what Ma'am Leizel Mendez said: Always greet
everyone in a polite way, especially when all of you are already in the workplace, because the
way you greet someone determines how they will welcome you. That's why I really admired
Ma'am Leizel Mendez—the way she care and always there to guide us as her students. I also
learned from her how to create a resume, application letter, biodata, PDS, and other documents
needed when you want to apply for a job. Honestly, the orientation basically helped a lot for all
students who were given the opportunity to work in the real workplace.
