I. INTRODUCTION
II. OBJECTIVES
•to independently inspect her chosen regions' dump facilities, particularly their
solid waste facilities, material recovery facilities, and disposal locations
•to promote a more acceptable system that is more in line with the aim of long-
term development

IV.DISCUSSION
There are many problems facing our country today that need to be solved
and action taken so that they do not worsen and continue to be prevented.
Some of them are climate change, floods, people's illness and the continuing
increase in environmental clutter and that is due to the improper organization
of solid waste we throw everywhere. Most people today do not have the self -
discipline to make waste disposal where it should be. Disposing solid waste is
not really a fairly easy job. There are a lot of things that should be taken into
consideration like public health, transportation, proper storage, proper
collection, etc. Failure to abide by rules and protocols might lead to accidents
or risk the health of people in the region.
This generation is currently more complex compared to the previous ones, you
will find no machines that may help everyone with solid waste management. It
doesn’t have to be hard and dangerous for anyone anymore. The solid waste
sorting equipment will also be eco-friendly, therefore you don’t have to worry
about harmful smoke.
1.Recover materials you could still recycle like glass, plastic, and metal.
Sorting solid waste matter manually can be dangerous and risky. Because of
these appliances, people don’t need to risk their health anymore since it will
now be done automatically.
2.Minimizes the space essential for landfills. A waste separation plant lessens
the level of garbage that will be disposed to landfills. Because recyclable
materials are easily distinguished, people around landfill areas won’t be
affected by the poisonous fumes emitted by solid waste matter over time. Any
additional space may also be used for more useful purposes rather than just
dumping garbage on it.
•They learn and share the ideas to others about what we have discussed
regarding Solid Waste Management
Marissa Mercado followed her handler's every move since she was ready to
examine and analyze waste sites independently. She was given the task of
independently inspecting the dump facilities of her selected regions,
particularly their waste management facilities, community recycling facilities,
and disposal sites, after learning the procedure.
Marissa Mercado will work with the local government's material recovery
facilities. Her team and she wrote a letter to the local governments alerting
them of the inspections. If a city or municipality had a problem implementing
RA 9003, they provided technical support. They were only given "visitorial
power" after that. If a dump site did not comply with the requirements of RA
9003, Mercado was faced with the problem of how to ensure that an LGU's
dump site was properly closed within the time frame set by the law. She was
unsure how she would gain support for RA 9003's implementation.
The NSWMC's major agency was the DENR. It provides LGUs with capacity-
building and technical help, as well as specific waste-reduction programs.
Every time Mercado and her team examined a SWM strategy, they were
directed by this organization.

VII. CONCLUTION
The protection of the environment and the population's health are the most
significant reasons for waste collection. Garbage and garbage can pollute the
air and water. Garbage that is allowed to rot emits hazardous fumes that mix
with the air and can cause breathing difficulties in individuals. Waste
management that is done correctly can result in the availability of valuable
materials that can be reused. It reduces the quantity of garbage that needs to
be disposed of, saves landfill space, and conserves natural resources. Finally,
proper waste management is critical for public health
