2. Afterward, compose a two (2) to three (3) paragraph reflection regarding the iconic symbols selected
and relate them to today's youth culture.

At first, I thought Pinoy Big Brother is just a game show where contestants can win money after the show.
Then I suddenly realize that this show was also a reality tv show where the actions of the contestant are
not scripted, yet only controlled by tasks given by the man of the house called “Big Brother.” Before the
contestants of reality game shows are somewhat competitive and each of them has a goal to take home the
prize money, the game show is like survivor PH on the other station. In the recent season of the show in
2022, I notice that the teens who entered the game show are far different from the ones that have entered
before. The scenes in the game show are more filled with drama as the housemates (contestants) are
always getting emotional during the show. Furthermore, the housemates of the tv show are having a hard
time and confusion while answering elementary-grade history questions. This situation shows that some
teens today are still not knowledgeable about the history of our own country.

In lifestyle, teens today are swayed by the trends or ins and outs in society. Before teens are buying clothes
at the ukay-ukay stores to buy their clothes in order to cope with the trend. Now more teens can now
afford to buy clothes from stores that cater branded shirts. I see this as somewhat a development in our
country as many people can now afford to buy new clothes.
