( 1:00 - 4:00 )
1. Which of the work attitudes you just learned about best describes what is most
important to you in a job?
Retaining quality teachers is indeed a great challenge to our educational institutions.
Teachers role in the society and education shows constant change as it embraces new ways
and opportunities for better learning , but the importance of their position still remains the
same. In this profession, the essential quality of the teacher is to have a positive approach. As
experienced, A teacher must have the potential and clear intention to discharge their duty
with it’s outmost devotion which results to satisfaction from our work. The most important
work attitude that captures me, is the cocept of Job Satisfaction, for this implies on the
combination of emotional and psychological experience at any work. This shows relationship
between what everyone expects in accordance to what everyone achieves. Any work cannot
be effectively done without satisfaction. Job Satisfaction is an important concept that is not
only related to an individual but it is relevant for our society’s well being. One factor that
results to this is that, It can ensure class performance and productivity of our schools. We,
teachers would get interested to teach our learners effectively when we are satisfied with our
jobs. We are looking for ways of improvement to achieve quality education, to meet the
demand of globalization. We perform in accordance to our maximum capacity, only if we are
satisfied with our jobs. To conclude , Job Satisfaction is an important standard in every
sector should posses, especially in the teaching profession.

2. How has the way you’ve been treated in organization had a positive or negative
impact on you in the past?

In my teaching experience, I was given a privilage for almost two-year

experience in teaching in private school before I became a public school teacher.
Teaching in the private school helped me improve and grow personally and
professionally. I was able to improve my self-confidence and knowledge in teaching. My
previous administrators have given me the highest position in our school which was the
Assistant Principal. I have proven to my previous administrators, parents and pupils that I
am capable in the position. Thus, I made to improve social skills to build positive attitude
towards my co-teachers. I have gained self-esteem to think ways on how I can contribute
as means of improvement in our school as well as resolving conflicts that arouse in our
school. All of my experiences when I was in private school affects on how I bring myself
as a public school teacher.

3. What is the reason why an employee will leave a job in the past?

As to my previous administrators, Employers will seek for greener pastures. There

are many reasons why an employee will leave in a job. One of this is that. An employee is
looking for a job in which it helps him improve professionally, personally and especially it
offers more benefits. Employees want to develop and grow their skills. If there is a reason
that they failed to do this in your job. They will look a work place in which they can. This
includes opportunities that they can gain as based to what is offered. Including the path in
which they can continue to grow through career development or a oppurtunity for promotion.
In conclusion in addressing this problem, Employers should be aware about their hopes and
dreams towards their employee and help them in creating a clear and defined path in
achieving the needs of their employee.
