SHOWN HERE) The A-IO UV Lamp Is normally changed everjfaSS days. The LCD message "EXCHANGE A-IO UV" appears every 365
calendar days on yourMIIII-Q Water Purification system.

Tlie complete changeout of this UV lamp involves the physical removal and replacement of the lamp and then a reset of a
software timer. Tlie softwaretimer is simply reset to 365 calendar days.

Chanelnit the A-IQ UV lamp !

1. Place the Mill-Cj i^fLB3^NDBV mode.

2. Open the Polnl Of Use Dispenser Trigger to allow any residual water pressure to .subside.
3. Turn olTthc electrical power to the Milli-Q system. Remove the power cord from the system.
4. Use a I ont-20 sl/cd screwdriver and remove the cover from the Milli-Q.

5. Locate the A-IO device (also referred to as an A-11). It Is located inside the Milll-Q behind the Quantum

P u r i fi c a t i o n P a c k .

It Is a PCUoard which Is mounted vertically and has pieces of tubing eoming to and from it.

6. Place your hand on the top of the A-IO and pull it about 2-3 cm forward. (X) NOT null on the A-IO where the

luhlni's enter the blackchaniber. This can damage the A-IO.

7. Use a flat ended screwdriver and remove the two stainless steel clips that hold the black chamber to the A-IO

device.

8. Pull the black chamber from the A-10.

9. Install the new black chamber device.

10. Place tlie two sUilnless steel clips back on the A-IO.

11. Put the system cover back on. Plug in the power cord. Turn on the power.
