1. Ad honinem
- Drake is wrong for choosing aviation because his father is only a janitor.
- You don’t actually care for the older people; you just want to brag yourself.
2. Red herring
- Walking at night is relaxing but you don’t know there is a danger in it.
- Timmy doesn’t want to go home therefore her mother told her to rush home to play ipad to
have fun.
3. Straw man
- Mom thinks we need to avoid using cellphone to avoid having a toothaches
- They said people should avoid cutting trees to avoid floods.
4. Equivocation
- I don’t approve harsh jokes. I’ve seen too many of them got disrespected.
- All tree has barks. Every dog barks. Therefore, every dog is a tree.
5. Slippery slope
- If I will start talking inside the room. Then everybody body will making a noise inside the
room they will think it’s fine because the teacher didn’t tell us about not talking.
- If I will ask a discount to the seller, then the people who surrounds us think it is okay to
bargain, the seller might end up losing amount of money.
6. Hasty generalization
- My skin is very itchy when I ate seafood, so I’m allergic to seafoods.
- I get nausea when I ride a bus, therefore if I ride a boat, I will feel dizzier.
