The Malaysian Ceylonese Congress Mont Kiara Branch will be organising a Pre Merdeka
Treasure Hunt and also a Health Screening Campaign for the less fortunate on the
26thAugust 2023 at Midlands Convention Centre, Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Details for the Pre Merdeka Treasure Hunt & Health Campaign is as stated below:-
Flag off Car Treasure Hunt – 9am from MCNCC (Malaysian Ceylonese National Community
Centre)
9am to 3pm - Health Campaign which includes a Blood Donation Drive & Health Screening at
Midlands Convention Centre
3pm – Closing Ceremony & Prize Giving for the Treasure Hunt participants at Midlands
Convention Centre

The proceeds from this Treasure Hunt will enable MCC Mont Kiara to carry out valuable
projects such as “Avoidable Blindness Programmes”. Furthermore, the month of October
will be the World Sight day and MCC Mont Kiara together with the Rotary Club of KL Di Raja
will be conducting a Vision Screening Clinic for the B40 community and also the primary
school children. The Rotary Club of KL Di Raja will be invited to receive a token to make the
Vision Screening Clinic a success. There will be a Dignitary to officiate the closing ceremony.
