March 12, 2012 Hon. Delfin T. Ting City Mayor Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Greetings in the name of service above self! The World Rotaract Week is a time for celebrating the success and importance of the Rotaract program. This event is also an excellent opportunity to inform members of our community about the amazing work that Rotaract clubs can do, and give them an opportunity to get involved. This year, with the celebration of the Rotaract week, we, the Rotaract Club of USL-Citadel and our sponsoring club Rotary Club of Tuguegarao Citadel decided to organize a Run for a Cause. The objectives of the fun run are: To make the community aware of the importance of road safety; to raise funds for a Street Light Project in street light project in accident prone areas in Tuguegarao City, specifically at Riverside near the bridge area; and For some future project of Rotaract. We decided for the installation of the street light as a project due to the increasing number of vehicular accidents in the said area. In this regard, may we ask your permission to allow us conduct this fun run in the street of Tuguegarao on March 24, 2012, Saturday, 5:30am-8:30am. PARTICIPANTS: ROTARACT officers and members Rotary Government Agencies Othe schools/Universities (supreme student souncil,etc) REGISTRATION: End of registration: March 22, 2012 Fee: 300php Includes: t-shirt, certificate, food and water All those who wish to take part in the Run should fill in and sign personally the form and receive sports shirt of the participant with a number printed on it in the unit where they registered.
