MASKING AND COURTHOUSE GENERAL ORDER NO. 2023-04
ENTRY DUE TO COVID-19

On August 18, 2022, the Court issued General Order Number 2022-09, which
required, among other things, that all persons in a federal courthouse in Nebraska wear a
mask in public spaces in the courthouse when COVID-19 Community Levels are “high”
based on the CDC’s COVID-19 County Check.

In light of improved COVID-19 conditions and in consultation with the judges of


the Court, General Order No. 2022-09, is hereby rescinded.

Nothing in this General Order prevents a presiding judge in a court proceeding


from directing or permitting the use or removal of masks by participants in that
proceeding.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
