I am privileged to have been raised in a family with multi generations of law

enforcement of cers. My father, John Martinez, recently retired from the Omaha Police

Department after thirty years of public service. I appreciate the values that he and my

mother instilled in myself and my siblings as they have, and continue to be, the best

examples of public servants. I am not a career politician, but, I am raising my children

in this community. For this reason, I share with you, that I will do my very best as I

serve the citizens as the Douglas County Commissioner of District 1.
