Info.

Foreign nationals intending to enter and stay in the Republic of North Macedonia must obtain a
relevant visa before their entry in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Required documents for Macedonian visa for short stay of up to 90 days

(C type visa):
1. Valid and recognized passport with validity period of at least 3 months longer than the intended
stay of the foreign national in the Republic of North Macedonia;
2. Documents of (individual or group) travel insurance (policy issued by a insurance company in the
country of residence or stay of the foreign national);
3. Documents justifying purpose and circumstances of intended stay:
4. For private/official visits: Letter of guarantee or an invitation by a Macedonian natural or legal
entity, certified by a Notary Public;
5. Proof of possession of funds sufficient for the duration of the stay in the Republic of North
Macedonia (credit cards/bank statements)
6. Colored photograph ( of 3.5x4.5 cm dimensions) on a white background which faithfully
portrays the applicant;
7. Proof of paid fee of 60,00 EUR for issuance of visa; can be paid at the Embassy – in Euros.
8. Orderly and legibly filled in visa application -enclosed.

IMPORTANT:
1. Any foreign national holder of valid national passport who possess a uniform form of valid
multiple entry Schengen visa type C (valid for all Schengen member countries), with a validity period
of at least 5 days after the planned stay in the Republic of North Macedonia, do not need to have a
Macedonian visa, but may stay up to 15 days, while the total duration of consequent stays in the
Republic of North Macedonia must not be longer than 3 months in the course of each 6 month
period, starting with the date of the first entry in the country.
2. Any foreign national holder of a valid national passport of a third country who possess a valid
British, US or Canadian visa with a validity period of at least 5 days longer then the planned stay in
the Republic of North Macedonia, may enter visa free and stay up to 15 days, while the total
duration of the consequent stays in the Republic of North Macedonia must not be longer than 3
months in the course of each 6 month period, starting from the date of the first entry in the country.
3. Any foreign national, holder of valid travel document of a third country, who is required to
have visa for entry in the Republic of North Macedonia, may enter the territory of the Republic of
North Macedonia without having to acquire Macedonian visa, if the foreigner has a permanent
residence in EU or Schengen member state.
