V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND BENEFICIARIES

The proposal is located in Barangay Langco Dimapatoy, Municipality of

Masiu, Lanao del Sur. This brgy. is estimated to be 1.5 kilos away from the población
of Masiu, Lanao del Sur. The municipality is approximately 36 kilometers away from
Marawi City, which can be reached by land and water via Lake Lanao. It is basically
a fishing area surrounded by Lake Lanao and has agricultural land with low land and
high land. It has a total population of 1,075 based on the 2015 census. Specifically,
this proposed project is situated at Sitio, Lanco Dimapatoy, Masiu, and Lanao del
Sur, where it is mostly MILF combatants who have returned to farming as their
source of livelihood.

Once the business runs and starts its production, the Dimapatoy MILF Fishing
Association will encourage all the fishermen to choose the said association as their
supplier of their fishing production.

VI. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

a. General

 To sell tools and equipment needed by the fishermen and earn the highest
profits possible.
 To strive for more customer traffic in their stores.
 To meet the fishermen’s demand, and
 To alleviate the living condition or every member of association.

VII. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

To realize the proposed project, the proponent shall seek financial assistance
from Ministry of Labor and Employment thru Bangsamoro Employment and
Entrepreneurial Development Program under Special Development Fund. The
physical store to be display center is done and waiting the implementation of the
project.

The implementation proper of the proposed project shall commence right after
the completion of pre-implementation activities by procuring all needed materials and
stock to be displayed in the physical store of the association.

VIII. MARKETING PLAN

One of the objectives of the association is to strive for more customer traffic in
their stores. The best way to achieve high customer traffic levels is to locate stores in
high-traffic areas. Especially, areas near in Lanao Lake since the proposed project
was all about fishing tools and equipment.

IX. SUSTAINABILITY PLAN

The proponent has Twenty-five (25) members and hereby conducted to be

accountable of the said project. The five (5) members from the association are
responsible to manage the grocery project to its daily operation once the funds be
handed or released from the Ministry of Labor and Employment under the Special
Development Fund to the association. Hence, the association will continue to
engage in research for its development plan. Also, we will undergo training and
orientation for the sustainability of the project.

X. MONITORING AND EVALUATION

The management shall submit a monthly report to the MOLE Field Office and
shall be allowed to inspect the project site either on quarterly or yearly basis and
may recommend action for consideration by the management.
