With every literary pieces we write, this gives us a chance to express

our thoughts and carefully discuss a specific topic. Alongside with this, many
people are able to view or read about it, hence giving us the responsibility of
making any literary piece in a well-presented manner. One of the current
literary works created, is the documentary by Kara David, which was shown
in one of I-Witness’ episodes, entitled ‘Nuwebe, Trese, Katorse, which tackles
about the increasing number of unwanted pregnancies among the youth, as
young as 9 years old. This documentary revolves on how the pandemic has
contributed with the increasing rate of teenage pregnancy in our country, so
much so, the duties that comes along with motherhood that is faced by
innocent children.

Upon watching the documentary, we can see the relation of the COVID-
19 with this issue. Based on the documentation about teenage pregnancy,
the pandemic has become a chance for teenagers to spend more time, and
be intimately close with their partners, and even their friends. They also took
advantage of the fact that their own personal areas are close with one
another, hence, leading to unwanted pregnancies. It can be seen that
different factors were connected with one another, and made use of to be
able to come up with a bigger idea. The overall structure and arrangement of
the documentary are all interconnected with each other, without having to
sacrifice its essence and its maid idea. Apart from that, the documentary
tackled a very widespread issue in our country, as to which many people can
relate to. They did not only mention the youth who are into teenage
pregnancy, but they also called the attention of the government as well as

in private, but issues are brought up in a way that many people would learn
from it. Upon watching the documentary, it can be surprising to learn about
the facts and data which were presented, for the first time. At a young age,
women are already dealing with such responsibility, and some of them would
even have relatives as their parental partners. This documentary can be
considered relevant for it is timely to the issues or country faces today.

be resolved as soon as possible, hence this documentary is raising
awareness and serving its purpose of making this concern known to many
people. Lastly, this documentation was able to present posteriori knowledge
in which everything that was introduced and discussed, came from true to
life experiences, since the whole episode was derived from an interview with
those youths who had a first-hand experience to teenage pregnancy.
