According to Newton (2017), the science of designing, constructing, and programming ‘electro-mechanical
machines’ to execute tasks that are deemed too dangerous or need accurate precision is called ‘Robotics’.
Likewise, ‘Virtual Robotics’ simulates pieces of Legos to design and build along with motors and
programable EV3 blocks to accomplish specific tasks or missions in digital space. Virtual Robotics aspires
to achieve a more inclusive performance using minimal resources that can be accessed by anyone who has a
computer (Common Sense Org., 2022). Virtual robotics is explained by defining the concept that is focusing
Choi H., et al. (2021) asserts that virtual robotics focuses on how simulating robots in the work field will
provide an idea of how these machines should be constructed and operated to produce safe and quality
operations in the future. Virtual robotics aims to provide its users with cost-effective interactions in a
computer-simulated environment.
According to Merriam Webster, the term robotics comes from the word robot derived from a Czech word,
‘robota’ which means “arduous labor” while the word ‘virtual’ is derived from the Latin word ‘virtuālis’
which means “effective”. Accordingly, robotics is the technology that deals with the design, construction,
and operation of robots in automation while virtual means to be simulated in a computer or to exist online
thus when the two words are pieced together, ‘Virtual Robotics’ is a new and innovative way to design,
build and program robots in a virtual environment which cultivates curiosity, creative and critical thinking
Technological progression influences robotics modernization as it helps adapt to the current needs of
learners since not everyone can afford a physical robotics toolkit. Virtual robotics modernizes education
which cultivates different aspects of technology in terms of industrial, household, medicine, military,
rehabilitation, humanoid, and other more (Barua, Ranjit & Datta, Sudipto, 2020). Maximizing the use of

available tools will help mankind improve and overcome obstacles. Just like how the historical timeline of
humanity used different kinds of tools such as stones, bronze, and iron to aid their survival and
advancement; likewise, virtual robotics can be a tool that will help develop humanity’s future and resources
The proponent proposes a series of webinars sponsored by FELTA, Multi-Media Inc which has been
involved in robotics ever since 1966 and holds virtual robotics competitions for the last three (3) years. The
paper suggests a four (4) day webinar on how users can adapt to the virtual simulation that encompasses
designing, building, and programming Lego Mindstorms. This is especially beneficial for those who are
interested in STEM-related professions as they can accumulate multiple skills from this project.
The project will cost ₱ 100,000 thousand that cover the operational costs, human and material resources, and
incidental expenses that are appropriately liquidated at the end of the project.
In general, virtual robotics aims to produce quality education through simulation, innovation, and
