The internship opportunity I had with SenseGrow Pvt. Ltd.
was a great chance for learning and professional
development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky
individual as I was provided with an opportunity to be a part
of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so many
wonderful people and professionals who led me though this
internship period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to

ABOUT THE COMPANY
The industrial world is experiencing a new
revolution. A revolution that is more powerful
than the disruption brought by mechanization
and automation. The revolution that is fueled by
IoT, ML, and AI. One such area that has the
potential to be transformed is the maintenance
practices in the industry. Most practices are
centered around reactive, periodic, or condition-
based maintenance that does not mitigate the
risk of sudden failure and huge losses
associated with it. Founded in 2014, SenseGrow
is a Predictive Maintenance SaaS and IIoT
hardware startup disrupting this practice.
SenseGrow IIoT sensors and cloud software
detect early signs of machine failure. This
early detection helps enterprises reduce
losses due to unexpected downtime and
sudden unplanned maintenance.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES :-
ANDROID APP DEVELOPER.
WORK DETAILS:-
As the beginning of our internship we had a
training session of 1 week where we have learned
working with IOT sensors and to get familiar with
kotlin and XML languages.
Moving forward we began with the development
process starting with the flowchart and basic UI
design of our application.
Further we have hard coded the UI design using
XML on Android studio platform. Then the
internal functioning of our application have been
done by KOTLIN where we have used BLE services
to connect our application with the various IOT
sensors available and the functioning of those
sensors have been controlled by our application.
And thus that is how we have cloned the
companies official application.

CONCLUSION
In a nutshell, this internship has been an
excellent and rewarding experience. I can
conclude that there have been a lot I’ve
learnt from my work at SenseGrow Pvt.
Ltd. Needless to say, the technical
aspects of the work I’ve done are not
flawless and could be improved provided
enough time. As someone with no prior
experience with Kotlin and XML
whatsoever I believe my time spent in
research and discovering it was well
worth it and contributed to finding an
acceptable solution to build a fully
functional web service. Two main things
that I’ve learned the importance of are
time-management skills and self-
motivation.
