A. What is Design Thinking:

Conduct a research and answer the following:

1. Write 3 sentences about Design Thinking

Design thinking is a problem-solving methodology that emphasizes empathy, creativity, and

experimentation to develop innovative solutions.
It involves a user-centered approach that puts the needs and preferences of the people who
will use a product or service at the forefront of the design process.
Design thinking can be applied to a wide range of fields, from product design to business
strategy, and has become increasingly popular in recent years as a way to foster innovation
and drive growth.

2. List the steps (phases) of Design Thinking process.

Empathize: The first phase involves understanding and empathizing with the people who will be
using the product or service. This involves conducting research and interviews to gain insights into
their needs, goals, and pain points.
Define: Once you have understood the user's needs well, the next step is to define the problem or
challenge want to solve. This involves synthesizing the research findings to identify the key insights
and opportunities for innovation.
Ideate: In this phase, you generate a wide range of ideas for solutions to the problem. This involves
brainstorming and other ideation techniques to encourage creativity and generate as many ideas as
possible.
Prototype: Once you have a few promising ideas, it's time to create prototypes or mock-ups of the
solutions. This could involve creating sketches, 3D models, or even functional prototypes.
Test: Finally, you test the prototypes with users to get feedback and refine the designs. This involves
gathering feedback and iterating on the designs until you have a solution that meets the needs of
the users and solves the problem effectively.
