2 months. We really had no idea that what exactly will we be taught.

Ridhi: And we concluded that it would be the same, what our


parents keep harping on. Hi, my name is Ridhhi, Ridhhi Sharma.

Shabad: Eat healthy food, avoid junk food, the never ending
instructions. Hi, my name is Shabad, Shabad Singh Randhawa.

Harsh: but finally when we began we were all amazingly happy to be


learning about vocabulary we had never heard before. Hi My name is

Raina: That food is something we all humans eat to keep ourselves


alive, breathing, living. Hi, my name is Raina, Raina Saini

Yashvi: We being slave to different taste qualities of sweet, sour,


bitter, salty and umami. Hi, my name is Yaashvi Kapoor.

Advik: That edible is something that is non poisonous and fit enough
for human consumption. Hi, my name is Aadvik, Aadvik Arora.

Snehnoor: And eatable is something that is palatable which means


pleasant to taste. Hi my name is Snehnoor, Snehnoor Kaur.

Gurbani:

Inayat: Vegetarians are people who do not eat meat, fish or fowl
and non-vegetarians are the ones who do. Hi may name is Inayat,
Inayat Thukral.

Nihchal: Fowls, domesticated birds raised for eggs and meat.


Chickens by far are the most heavily consumed birds. Hi, my name is
Nihchal, Nihchal Kaur.

Gurbani: The term fowl covers a range of birds, from turkey, quails,
geese and pigeons. Hi, my name is Gurbani, Gurbani Kaur.
Aariv: That food contains essential nutrients to support human life
and growth. Hi, my name is Aariv, Aariv Arora.

Janvi: Essential means important, nutrients are important because


they provide nourishment to the body. Hi, my name is Janvi, Janvi
Mehra.

Aryan: Carbohydrates, minerals, fats, proteins, vitamins, fibre and


water. Hi my name is Aryan, Aryan Riar.

Ayaan: Fibre and water, don’t provide nutrition but help with
digestion and to soften our stool. Hi, my name is Ayaan, Ayaan
Arora.

Saumya: And then came the challenging part; helping them


understand and realise why junk is not just the bad but the worst
choice.
