By registering fo participate. players acknowledge to comply with the rules and regulations of the SPORTS DEVELOPMENT OFFICE, and with any decisions made by the staff of ADFA SPORTSFEST. TOURNAMENT FORMAT Tournament Format: Single Round Robin ... * Point System: < o- -2wins =2 points © 1 win=1 point © Owin=0 point GENERAL RULES Delay of the Game: Any delays or intentional act of delaying the game may result in forfeiture of game. Each competing team has a 15-minute defauit time ihat starts on the scheduled time cf their game. Unsportsmanlike Behavior: Pariicipants must always respect other parficipants. Any ineppropriate behavior or language expressed before or during or after the game may result in disqualification at ADFA sporisfest officials" discretion. Face Verification: All team members will undergo face verification or physical appearance before each game. Winner: A team fo win 2. games will be declared as Champions, followed by the team with 1 win who will be the 1st Runner-Up and the team with no wins will be considered as the 2nd Runner-Up. Scoring System: * Each game will be composed of a best of 3 sets with 15 points per set. * The side winning a rally adds a point to its score. * At 14all, the side which gains a 2-point lead first, wins that game. Rules of the Game: 1. Each team should be composed of 6 players (mixed Men and Women) inside the court. 2. The team's composition can either be 3 men and 3 women or 2 men and 4 women. 3. Men players are only allowed to spike in the back row. Only women players are allowed to spike either in the front or back re w. 4. Allrules will be in accordance with the FIVB rules and regulations. Competition Eli a. Player Eligibility i. Faculty, Admin, and Staff. The event is open for all faculty, admins, and statf from all TUP Campuses. b. Team Management Competition Conduct. Player Behavior Investigation. Suppose the ADFA sporisfest officials determine that a Team or Team Member has violated any of the aforementioned rules outlined in this document. In that case, ADFA sporisfest officials may assign penalties at their sole discretion. Cooperation with Investigation. If the ADFA sportstest official contacts a Team Member to discuss an investigation, the team members must tell the truth. Anyone caught lying will be considered as obstructing the investigation and will also be subject to punishment. Confidentiality. A team mernber shall not disclose any confidential information provided by ADFA sportsfest by any communication method, including all social media channels. Non-Compliance. No Team Member shall refuse or fail fo apply the instructions or decisions of ADFA sporlsfes. officials. Destruction of Property. Should any instance of property destruction occur, ADFA sportsfest will not be responsible for the replacement/payment for damages and will be the player's responsibility to do so.
