1. b. Why is this considered such a dangerous reaction?

reasoning by researching credible sources. (1 mark)
Sodium hypochlorite is the active ingredient in chlorine bleaches. Mixing bleach and
ammonia can be deadly. When combined, these two common household cleaners
release toxic chloramine gas. Exposure to chloramine gas can cause irritation to your
eyes, nose, throat, and lungs. Symptoms of short term exposure to high levels of
hydrazine may include irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat, dizziness, headache,
nausea, pulmonary edema, seizures, and coma in humans. Acute exposure can also
damage the liver, kidneys, and central nervous system in humans.
