An advocate for peace, unity, and love from a very young age, Nelson Mandela is an integral part of the
history of human rights.

Impact of his/ her unconditional services to his or her people and to you:
Nelson Mandela inspired countless people to devote their lives to peace, justice, and reconciliation. For
me, Nelson Mandela deserves to be remembered for his struggle and leadership for freedom, equality, truth,
love, peace and justice. He inspired many of us through his life, struggle, words and deeds, as he walked the
walk as well as talking the talk, unlike many compatriots who manipulate similar ideals for self-aggrandizement.

Style of leadership:
As a leader, Nelson Mandela, motivated his followers to achieve great things through inspiration,
personality strength, intellectual stimulation, and individualized attention. He lacked fear, and it is evident in the
fact that he inspired his followers to move beyond fear.
