speech while talking about qualitative forest conservation, ecology, effects on the economy, targets,
achievements. Forests are used for development of the country. The opposition questions the
security of land and protection of tribal people rights, military infrastructure, and the danger to the
natural ecosystem. The government ensures giving opportunities to the tribal people who are
displaced, compensatory afforestation, and increase in forest land is seen. Scientifically, new trees
give out more oxygen. Government aims at carbon neutrality, sustainable development and adapting
to climate change, economical development is necessary as well.

working as well because India is self-dependent

1. Use of AI in education (heated argument between the MPs): The opposition questions the AI
saying that it is making students lazy and reducing their development as they don’t have to
have knowledge about the topic as it is all available on the AI. The students just have to
paraphrase the data. The government answers by saying why wasn’t google questioned. AI is
required for the development of students as well as the teachers due to knowledge it
provides, paraphrasing also needs skills.
2. Finland as a member of NATO: Finland’s decision won’t affect our trades. India is
independent and self-sufficient. the government says that finland’s problems aren’t india’s
problems. They are questioned by saying that when india needs USA’s or other country’s
help, they’ll say the same that india’s problems aren’t theirs cause they are “independent”.
India’s independence was mocked here by someone who was born in the same country. The
government says that india has been neutral in many wars to maintain peace and protect it’s
people.
3. Gambling in sports: Many people are addicted to gambling and it should be stopped says the
opposition, whereas the government wants to legalize gambling for the enhancement of
india’s economy as a whole. The opposition questions that people who bet and when they
aren’t able to pay back, they are beaten up and their safety is concerned. The government
replies by saying that tobacco, and alcohol aren’t illegal, if gambling is considered illegal then
even investment in shares and stocks should be considered illegal, people are addicted to
them as well, but they aren’t cause they help to improve India’s help

Discussion on the bill: the opposition strongly opposed the bill, they wanted to make some
amendments to it but the amendments were not passed. The amendments requested were:

1. Forest which is not private property should be reserved as well


2. Tribal activities given previous approval by the government
3. Pass the bill in other minor languages as well.

No confidence motion: the opposition raised the no-confidence motion, a 4v4 heated debate was
witnessed, but it failed to pass. The opposition critised the current government policies and how
they have lost their faith.

The event was concluded with Vande Mataram. The 1st position was banged by Agni, 2nd by Vaari,
and 3rd by Maarut.
