Good day Ma’am/Sir:

I am Elsa G. Digma, 3rd year college student, currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at
Cavite State University main campus. I am writing this letter as my sincere intention to have an
internship at your office, in partial fulfillment of the requirements of my undergraduate degree which I
am required to have an On-The-Job Training (OJT) which will helps me develop my skills and potentials
as a student and to be able to contribute for the success of your office/organization.

In this regard, I saw that that your office is in need of an intern and your good office still accepts
applications. With this, I manifest my intention to have internship in your office.

As a political science student, I learned a lot about politics and government as well as how this works. I
also gained relevant knowledge and extensive experience in researching on political subjects such as
foreign relations and political ideologies, collecting data from sources such as public opinion surveys.
Aside from this, I learned how to manage time wisely in completing tasks, I can get along with people I
work with, and know how to find solutions when faced with difficulties or setbacks. The skills I possess
would make me an ideal fit for the role, as I’m meticulous with detail, have a can-do positive attitude,
and fit in well in different environments. I will ensure the skills and experience that I gain from this
internship will make a great contribution to achieving the values of your office/organization. Moreover, I
am proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as, Word, Excel and Power Point.
