Give me brief introduction of yourself?

Hi my name is Ibrahim Azam and I am a supervisor in our construction company

1. Let’s start about the background in using digital services for tourism and hospitality?

As you know the person wants to enjoy his life and for that they do tours and use hospitality
services in that you uh you decide to go either with travel agencies or you use your personal
references for two hours towards maybe official or with family.

i) Do you use smart services for hospitality and tourism?

Yes, I used many times Online services for tourism. They are providing good services online to
book hotel rooms and plan a trip. There are also some drawbacks of these services but in
aggregate they are good.

ii) What are the benefits of smart services for and tourism?

Yes, there are many benefits of them because these services are here to provide you good
environment so you can enjoy your journey and when you like them then you use them again
and again.

iii) And what are the disadvantages of these services?

Yes, ummm there are advantages… there are also some disadvantages like hacking of your
personal data and sometimes your GPS does not work and you lost your way during travel.

2. For what purposes do you find smart services for tourism and hospitality useful?

I use it for finding discounts and you must use these services at least once when you decide to
travel outside or go to a restaurant with your friends. It is a service through which you can
change your mind and fresh your mind. I mostly use these services to take some discounts or to
take a good experience with new people and places.

i) How did you come to trust with that kind of services?

Look.. you can only gain trust on anything when you take risk about that when you did not use
it by yourself you will not gain trust. When you use it by yourself you can trust and find it useful
and then use it again for either yourself and for a business trip.

3. In what ways do you use smart services for hospitality and tourism?
 As we need to plan a tour I know a travel agency named alpha travels. They have a guide who
provided us all the information about the trip and share details of the places where we want to
go. Because they have a better knowledge about different places and hospitality services so we
can trust them yeah… thank you

i) Have you encouraged your colleagues to adopt smart services for tourism and hospitality?

yes of course I encourage my colleagues and friends and tell them about my experience with
the facility of tourism services. Some of them said that they could not trust these kind of
services then I tell them about my experience and encourage them to use them at least one
time because without taking risks you cannot take knowledge of new places and things and
some of my colleagues also traveled with me and after our tour they have the positive remarks
about them.

4. Which people in your circle motivate you to adopt the services of tourism and hospitality?

My friends and uhhh some of my colleagues guide me about these services and the travel
agencies with which they travelled uhhh yes they motivated me to use these services.

i) Are you satisfied with the kind of support you receive?

yes of course I am satisfied with the kind of sport I have received.

5. What organizational and technical resources you use to support these services?

As I told you I used these services mostly through app or online medium and sometimes
through social media pages many times I use these services for planning my official trips also.

6. What price value do you perceive when using smart services?

Yes these touring Agencies provide different packages only to motivate you as if you travel…..
travel with us and take one more person with you we will give you a 5000 discount. At some
places it is mentioned there per person cost will be 10,000 but if you take one more person
with you we will give you a discount with package of 15,000 for two persons.

i) Do you enjoy using smart services for hospitality and tourism?

yes we enjoy U…using these kind of services

7. What are the concerns you have while using smart services for tourism and hospitality?

As you know there are risks in everything I can’t tell you much about it but I can tell you dad in
hospitality services or tourism services you must try it by yourself and judge the things in big
cities like Islamabad there are less during sports now so you would go to northern areas of
Pakistan

i) no no I want to ask what you have concerned about it using smart online services?
 oh OK Umm the big concern is of theft of data if someone… if you gave personal information
like ID card and it could be used for some wrong purpose

8. At what level you perceive smart services for hospitality and tourism has habitual usage?
you do so?

Some services are there in their app or website which you use for habitual and some for fun…
for example most of the time you search for a good discounts through these services these are
not habitual because you search only when you actually want to go but I always search for
different places which are offered by tourism companies to visit.

i) What you say about your experience related to hospitality services?

as you know every hotel provides different hospitality services different restaurants have
different food qualities and you judge them by their services provided. Many of them provide
their manuals on online like food panda is a service on which every restaurant provided their
menu with prices and give different discount packages and this is where people to order online
but with my experience I see online ordering companies also add their charges and sometimes
food quality doesn't look good when you order online so it is better to go to a restaurant by
yourself and after seeing quality of food you can judge them better.

9. Are you face any bad conduct of tourism facilitator or hotel staff when travelling with
friends or colleagues?

no no as such I face no issue like this but I think if you got an argument or issue during your
travel you must handle it better way to not to spoil your trp.

i) Do you face any issue of overcharging when paying bills at a hotel or restaurant?

Umm….do not face issue yet but as you are saying some of my friends tell about their
experience because some hotels do not mention about services tax and on paying bill they
charge extra amount or services tax.

ii) Do you want to share any of your personal experience related to tourism over hospitality?

recently I travelled with one of Tour Company alpha travels which was a trip of three days and
then it was extended to four days, it was a good experience and we did it in a very manageable
budget we travelled to Swat, kalam in Malam Jabba they booked a full resort and the
environment and service was so good and peaceful…. as in the package they also prvided
hospitality and food was included and we’re to travel to the same spots they told before
travelling and it was overall a very good experience… thank you
