PROFESSIONAL MOTIVATION
Through my experiences working in clinical research, I have learned that behind every study is a group of
patients, whose safety and wellbeing should always be our priority. I desire to work in an industry
contributing to developing drugs that will one day improve quality of life for patients.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Lead multiple Phase I studies for Celiac disease, narcolepsy and CMV through study start-up and oversee the
study execution team and CRO f or different study aspects, including budget, timelines and oversight of line
f unctions
• Apply clinical research regulations and guidelines to early phase studies to confirm all studies are following ICH
guidelines, along with FDA regulations, EMA regulations or the ASEAN Good Regulatory Practice (GRP) Guide
• Review and approve study documents including investigator’s brochures, clinical protocols, clinical study reports,
inf ormed consent forms and other essential study documents
• Generate monthly reports for all Early Clinical Operations studies at Takeda to be sent to the CRO through the
study tracking system and communicate with management about timeline changes
• Lead, provide feedback and grade students in simulation pharmacy lab courses for Purdue University, where
students counsel a patient or provide recommendations to a physician
• Presented on Clinical Operations & The Effects of COVID-19 on Clinical Research to Purdue University’s
Pharmaceutical Industry Elective Course

• Counsel patients and help select the best over-the-counter medication based on their description of symptoms or
conditions
• Administer vaccinations based on patient’s needs and counsel patients on vaccines they are eligible to receive
• Review the Connecticut Prescription Monitoring System to confirm controlled substances are being filled within
legal time requirements and prescribe Narcan to patients receiving opioid prescriptions to prevent opioid overdose

• Tutored 4th year pharmacy students in Extemporaneous Compounding by hosting review sessions and creating
practice exams weekly with the professor to monitor students’ progress throughout the semester
