TAX DECLARATION

SUBMISSION
Every employer seeks a tax declaration from their employees at the beginning of a
financial year. This declaration is a list of all tax-saving investments that an
employee commits to make in that particular year.

This Tax declaration/Proof Submission screen is used to capture the declaration


RECORD TAX made by employees regarding their income, investments and other declarations
and during proof employee can submit the proofs or documents under review
DECLARATION and confirm section.

If any employee does not select any of the option through payroll login, we will consider the tax calculation option as per “New
Tax Regime” and no changes will be allowed till March 2024.

User can choose this if he/she is eligible to provide previous employment details (Those who have joined post 1st Apr 2023).

We have also attached Excel file for the comparison of the Tax slab.

Note: Select any of the Tax Slab (Old Tax- exemptions are allowed; New Tax- Fewer exemptions allowed) Refer the

TAX SLAB OPTION – OLD TAX
Section 10 Exemption Details
Date from and To: These columns will get automatically loaded as start date
and end date of the month and user can amend the dates as per your
requirement.

City: The Column City, in which the names of the cities will get loaded
automatically so that user can choose your city. The value metro or

Rent Declared: Declare the amount for rental accommodation in Rent

Default Rent : Using default option , the user can update the city and rental
amount for all applicable months from employment start month.

Landlord PAN No: Provide the Landlord PAN No only if employee has paid
the total rent more than 1L in a year.

This screen denotes the other income details of the employee. i.e., Income from
house property and Loss from house property. User can declare the amount as per
their demands.

INCOME FROM PREVIOUS COMPANY

This screen is used to enter the income


received from the previous employer
along with the taxes that they have paid.
Employer Name: Need to provide your previous employer's name.

Employers PAN and TAN: Furnish your employers TAN and PAN
number.

From and To Date: Choose from and to date columns which


represent the service period for your previous employer.
INCOME FROM
PREVIOUS COMPANY Select Employer: Employer drop down is available and the list gets
loaded once you update your employer's name.

Salary Details: This field is given to declare your inputs Provided


from your previous employer.

Submitted Amount: Provide the amount from the Settlement Silp


from your pervious employer as per the salary details items.

Employee remarks: This column is enabled for the user to provide if


any remarks to be added
Deductions Under Chapter VI A
The user can give the list of all deductions covered under Chapter VIA
80C, 80CCC , 80CCD, 80CCE, 80D, 80DD, 80U, 80EEA, 80G, (80TTA and
80TTB) which will help to bring down the taxable income for the financial
year. The Investment and Exemption details is attached in the PDF.

The section has been designed in a tree grid style, where the section 80
Deductions Under items are grouped under each 80 deduction.

Chapter VI A
User can declare their corresponding 80 deduction item and provide their
value under declared amount.

Payroll deductions: The value get adjusted from Gross pay will
automatically gets loaded which will be considered for 80 Deductions.

for you to acknowledge.
