RW PT: (Script making and script reading)

*After dinner in the living room*

Angelo Jay: How was the food mother? Was it good?
Parent: Yes, it was good.
Angelo Jay: Thanks, I saw the recipe from Youtube and I thought why not give it a try?
Parent: Mhmm, That’s very good of you. Seems like your cooking skills are finally improving, you did a
really great job.
Angelo Jay: Oh my gosh thank you. By the way mom, my grades on school are fine don’t you think?
Parent: Yeah, why would you ask that?
Angelo Jay: I don’t know, maybe you could buy me a new phone, maybe?
Parent: You know we’re low on budget, right? And your current phone is still working properly, why
would you need a new one?
Angelo Jay: Actually, it is not because: first of all; it’s always lagging so much and it crashes all the time
whenever I attempt to join a class online or on zoom; second of all; I cannot keep up with my classmates
and in school due to the limited storage of my current phone, it basically means I am not able to capture
or store any school related stuffs like presentation and things written from the board; I have to do it the
old-fashioned way which is writing it down.
Parent: I’m really sorry my son, but I really can’t buy you a new one.
Angelo Jay: But I heard you talking to Auntie last week about her sending a money again to you.
Parent: Yes you did, but I’ll use the money for our daily needs.
Angelo Jay: Like what?
Parent: Like foods, groceries, monthly bills and Maxi’s bills
Angelo Jay: Then what about the new laptop worth 50 you bought for my sister last month? How’s that
“low on budget?”
Parent: She needs it because on the school organization she will be joining in, a good-performance
laptop is a requirement.
Angelo Jay: But mom, I also need a new phone to learn not just from school but from home too.
Parent: Ok ok, fine. Since you really need it that badly, I’ll ask your father to send me a money next
week . If he can’t, then I’ll find a way to buy you a new one.
Angelo Jay: Really mom? Then thank-you very much, I promise to study hard and do my home chores
always and on time too.
Parent: Yes, yes, you better do.
