1. Explain why the duty of the church is not only to understand the problem of poverty and the
development of people around the world but also to increase awareness of the world's
responsibility on these issues.

The church is very interested in and concerned about how individuals are developing. According
to Catholic doctrine, individuals who are seen to be on the margins of society are represented by
the poor, and Jesus himself emphasized the value of providing assistance to those in need. In
order to build a plan for reducing poverty, it is important to consider how responsiveness, voice,
and accountability are all tied to responsibility and commitment. Since there are thousands of
local and international NGOs working to combat poverty in the Philippines, they can play a
significant role in the overall development of the underprivileged and in reducing poverty. Even
today, churches, synagogues, and mosques help those in need by giving them food, clothing,
housing, healthcare, and job training. They also send volunteers to rebuild communities in
disaster zones like New Orleans and revitalize underprivileged regions in their own
neighborhoods.

2. Provide evidence for the circumstances that have contributed to a lack of development.

A collective effort must be made for the advancement of the human race as a whole in order for
an individual's development to occur. "Man must meet man; the nation must meet nation, as
brothers and sisters, as children of God. In this mutual understanding and friendship, in this
sacred communion, we must also begin to work together to build the common future of the
human race. This could lead to the development of real international bonds

3. Contrasts the nobility and dangers of work.

The document compares the nobleness and risks of labor. Work is essential and beneficial to the
soul, but it can also result in sin. This is due to the fact that it offers benefits like money and
power. But everyone needs the same fundamental needs, such as work, healthcare, a secure place
to live, and education. They also require respect for human dignity and a desire to see peace
achieved. Finally, people must cooperate with God's spirit and strive to live that kind of spiritual
life.
