    TADABBUR A L Q U R’AN
    HADEETH OF PROPHET ‫ﷺ‬
    It was narrated from 'Amir ibn. Wathila that Nafi' ibn. 'Abd al-Harith met 'Umar at 'Usfan and
    'Umar had appointed him as a governor of Makkah. He ('Umar) said to him (Nafi'): Whom have
    you appointed in charge of the people of valley? He said: Ibn Abza. Umar asked: Who is Ibn Abza?
    He said: one of our freed slaves. He ('Umar) said: Have you appointed over them a freed slave?
    He said: He is well versed in the Book of Allah and he has knowledge of the laws of inheritance.
    'Umar said: Your Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said:

    ‫قَا َل ُع َم ُر أ َ َما ِإ َّن نَبِيَّ ُك ْم صلى هللا عليه وسلم َق ْد قَا َل‬

    َ َ‫ب أَقْ َوا ًما َوي‬


    َ ‫ض ُع ِب ِِ خ ََ ِر‬
    . " ‫ين‬ ِ ‫َّللاَ يَ ْرفَ ُع ِب َهذَا الْ ِكتَا‬
    َّ ‫" ِإ َّن‬
    By this Book, Allah would exalt some people and degrade others.
