‫يا معلِم اِبراهِيم اْلِكمة علِمنا يا مف ِهم سليمان ف ِهمنا ففهمناها سليمان‬

‫ِ‬ ‫ولُك اتينا حكما و ِعلما وسخرنا مع داود ِ‬

‫يا رب سليمان ويا رب اِبراهِيم ويا رب موَس و ِعيَس ويا رب ُمم ٍد صَّل‬

‫ٱللهم زِدنا ِعلما وارزقنا فهما بِرْحتِك يا أرحم الراْحِن‬

‫ٱللهم نورِنا بِنورِ ِعل ِمك واب ِعدنا النِسيان بِرْحتِك يا أرحم الر ِ‬

‫ح ْف َظ ال ُم ْرسلِن ِإَوي َمان ال ُمتقِن ب َرْحت ِك يا أرحمَ‬

‫ٱللهم ارزقنا فهم انلبِيِن و ِ‬

‫اْل ْم ُد ِ َّللِ َرب الْ َعالَمنَ‬ ‫َ‬
‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬
‫الراْحِن و‬
Oh the one who taught Ibrahim wisdom, do teach me. Oh who gave Sulaiman understanding, give me
udnderstanding. (Allah) gave Sulaiman understanding and to both Sulaiman and Daud wisdom and
knowledge. And Allah instructed the hills and the birds to join in praising Allah who made all this happen.
Oh the lord of Sulaiman, and the lord of Ibrahim, and the lord of Musa and Isa and the lord of Muhammad
‫ﷺ‬, take me out of the darkness and ignorance and forgetfulness. With your rahmah (mercy), oh the
Rahman and the Raheem
Allah please increase me in knowledge and grant me wisdom, with your rahmah (mercy), oh the Rahman
and the Raheem
Allah give us Light, with the light of your knowledge and take us out of forgetfulness with your rahmah
(mercy), oh the Rahman and the Raheem
Allah, please give us the understanding of the prophets (Nabi) and protect us like you protected the
prophets (Rasul) and give us the Iman of the Muttaqeen (highest degree of taqwa) with your rahmah
(mercy), oh the Rahman and the Raheem. And praise be to Allah, the lord of the worlds.

Introduction to Seerah of Prophet Muhammad SAW
Why should we learn the Seerah
o To truly appreciate who Rasulullah SAW was
o Once we know him better, our love for him will grow significantly Insha Allah
o Know his names (Muhammad, Mustafa, Ahmad, Al Amin, Rahmatan Lil Alameen etc)
o To understand the Quran better. (Asbabul Nuzul is related to seerah)
o Raises our hopes and spirits (by learning about the difficulties and struggles he and his
sahabah had to endure) – we have it easy!!
o Prophet Muhammad life story is Miracle – the whole seerah and what he accomplished and
what his sahabah and tabi’ tabiun accomplished is indeed a miracle!

‫إبراهيم‬ َ َُ َ َ َ َ َ ْ ََ ُ َ َ َ َ ََ َ َ ‫ا‬ َ ََْ ْ َ َ َُ َ

14, 36
‫حيم‬
ِ ‫ان اإِنك غفور ر‬ ِ ‫ب إِنهن أضللن كثِْيا مِن ٱنل‬
ِ ‫اس ۖ فمن تبِع ِن اإِنهۥ م ِِن ۖ ومن عص‬ ِ ‫ر‬
My Lord! They have caused many people to go astray. So whoever follows me is with me,
and whoever disobeys me—then surely You are ˹still˺ All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

ْ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َُ ْ ْ َ ُ َ ْ ُ َ َ ‫إن ُت َعذبْ ُه ْم‬

‫الماءدة‬ ُ‫ٱْلكِيم‬
َ ‫يز‬ُ ‫اد َك ۖ ِإَون تغ ِفر لهم اإنك أنت ٱلعز‬

5, 118
If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You
forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

Allah sent Jibreel, to give him glad tidings

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬recited the Words of
Allah, the Exalted, and the Glorious, about Ibrahim (‫ )ﷺ‬who said: "O my Rubb! They have led astray many
among mankind. But whosoever follows me, he verily, is of me". (14: 36) and those of 'Isa (Jesus) (‫ )ﷺ‬who said:
"If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You, are the All-Mighty, the
All-Wise". (5: 118). Then he (‫ )ﷺ‬raised up his hands and said, "O Allah! My Ummah, my Ummah," and wept;
Allah, the Exalted, said: "O Jibril (Gabriel)! Go to Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬and ask him: 'What makes you weep?" So Jibril
came to him and asked him (the reason of his weeping) and the Messenger of Allah informed him what he had
said (though Allah knew it well). Upon this Allah said: "Jibril, go to Muhammad (‫ )ﷺ‬and say: 'Verily, We will
please you with regard to your Ummah and will never displease you". [Muslim].

Our Lord! Raise from among them a messenger who will recite to them Your revelations,
teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the
Almighty, All-Wise

Based on this doa, Rasulullah said: “I am the Doa of my father Ibrahim”

Moses prayed, “Our Lord! You have granted Pharaoh and his chiefs luxuries and riches in this
worldly life, ˹which they abused˺ to lead people astray from Your Way! Our Lord, destroy their
riches and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment

Doa Nabi Sulaiman
38, 35
He prayed, “My Lord! Forgive me, and grant me an authority that will never be
matched by anyone after me. You are indeed the Giver ˹of all bounties

And David was succeeded by Solomon, who said, “O people! We have been taught the
language of birds, and been given everything ˹we need˺. This is indeed a great privilege

Solomon’s forces of jinn, humans, and birds were rallied for him, perfectly organized

‫ "يِشك باّللِ شيئاا‬. ْ ُ

Anas b. Malik reported: Verily the Messenger of Allah
(‫ )ﷺ‬said: There is for every apostle a prayer with which It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger
he prays (to Allah) for his Ummah. I have reserved my of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said: “Every Prophet had a prayer that
prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer
Resurrection. in this world. But I am saving my prayer so that I
can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one

َ ‫ت َم َع َم ْن أح َبب‬ َ ‫اّلل عليه وسلم " أن‬

ِ ْ.‫ِإَون ل َ ْم أَ ْع َم ْل ب ِمثْل أ ْع َمالِهم‬

‫إِياهم‬
ِ ِ ِ

Narrated Anas: A man asked the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying,
"When will the Hour be?" The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said,
"Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "You will be with
those whom you love." We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the
Prophet (i.e., "You will be with those whom you love.") Therefore, I love the Prophet, Abu Bakr
and `Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds
are not similar to theirs.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Whoever has seen me in a

dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my
shape.

. " ‫الرباط‬ ِ ‫بعد الصَلة اذل ِكم‬
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said: Should I not suggest to you that by
which Allah obliterates the sins and elevates the ranks (of a man). They (the hearers) said:
Yes, Messenger of Allah. He said: Performing the ablution thoroughly despite odds, make
more paces towards the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after observing a prayer,
and that is mindfulness.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬came to the graveyard and said: "Peace be upon you! The
abode of the believing people and we, if God so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers." They
(the hearers) said: Aren't we your brothers, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You are my companions, and our
brothers are those who have, so far, not come into the world. They said: Messenger of Allah, how would you
recognise those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Supposing a man had horses
with white blazes on foreheads and legs among horses which were all black, tell me, would he not recognise
his own horses? They said: Certainly, O Messenger of Allah. He said: They would come with white faces and
arms and legs owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Well (Kauthar) before them. Some people would be
driven away from my well (Kauthar) as the stray camel is driven away. I would call out: Come, come. Then it
would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after you, and I would say: Be off, be off.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive

Meaning of Closing Doa

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Compassionate

Our Lord Benefit Us with the knowledge you have taught us * Our Lord teach us what is beneficial for us * Our
Lord grant us, our families and our relatives firm understanding of our religion. Together with the people of
our Nation be they female or male.

Our Lord, grant us and them success in what pleases you be it speech or action that is noble. And give us
sustenance that is Halal and blessed always. Grant us companions who are pious and knowledgeable. So that
we will be safe and continue to do good and abstain from evil.

O Lord, straighten all our affairs; gladden our eyes with Your Satisfaction, O Lord, settle all our debts, before
the messengers of death come to us, Forgive us and cover our weaknesses; You are the Noblest of those who
cover faults.
Meaning of Closing Doa (…continued)

May Allāh’s Blessings be on the Chosen One, who calls to the truth and devotion in a book which contains
cure for mankind. And Blessings upon his honourable family, and noble and radiant Companions.

O Allāh! Guide us with Your Guidance and make us of those who hasten to Your Pleasure, do not appoint
over us a protector other than You, and do not make us of those who oppose Your Command and disobey
You;

Allah is sufficient for us and he is the best helper. There is no power and no strength except with Allah the
most High and the most Supreme. And may Blessings and Peace be upon our master Muḥammad, his family
and Companions;

Ajaran Sesat according to JAIS
1. Syiah ialah fahaman yang melampau dalam mengagungkan kedudukan Sayidina Ali RA dan kaum kerabatnya. Syiah turut digelar Rafidhah
bermaksud fahaman yang menolak kepimpinan Sayidina Abu Bakar RA, Sayidina Umar RA dan Sayidina Uthman RA bahkan mereka
mengkafirkan dan melaknat para sahabat dan isteri Nabi s.a.w.
2. Murji’ah ialah pemikiran yang muncul pada zaman awal Islam yang berpegang pada fahaman penangguhan hukum terhadap orang-orang
yang melakukan maksiat sehingga ke hari kiamat. Murji’ah juga berpandangan maksiat tidak memberi kesan kepada iman dan ketaatan
tidak memberi kesan kepada kekufuran
3. Khawarij secara literal bermaksud "mereka yang keluar". Khawarij pada asalnya adalah kelompok Muslim yang pada mulanya menyokong
Sayidina Ali Bin Abi Talib RA tetapi kemudian menolak kepemimpinan Sayidina Ali RA selepas berlakunya Majlis Tahkim antara Sayidina Ali
RA dan Sayidina Muawwiyah RA. Menurut Khawarij, orang Islam yang melakukan dosa besar adalah kafir.
4. Qadariyyah adalah fahaman yang berpendapat bahawa perbuatan manusia adalah berdasarkan kepada kehendaknya semata-mata tanpa
ketentuan atau qadak dan qadar Allah SWT. Ini bermaksud manusia sepenuhnya berkuasa dan bertanggungjawab terhadap perbuatannya.
Lawan terhadap fahaman Qadariyyah ialah Jabariyyah.
5. Jabariyyah dinisbahkan kepada Al-Ja’d Bin Darham dan muncul pada awal zaman pemerintahan Umayyah. Jabariyyah berpendapat bahawa
manusia tiada daya membuat pilihan bahkan terpaksa melakukan sesuatu perbuatan. Ini bermaksud segala yang berlaku terhadap manusia
adalah takdir dan ketentuan Allah SWT.
6. Muktazilah dinisbahkan kepada Wasil Bin ‘Ata’ dan muncul pada awal kurun kedua Hijrah. Muktazilah berpegang pada lima prinsip atau
asas kepercayaan iaitu; [i] Al-Tauhid (Tauhid), [ii] Al-‘Adl (Keadilan), [iii] Al-Wa’d Wa Al-Wa’id (Janji ganjaran dan ancaman), [iv] Al-
Manzilah Bayna Al-Manzilatain (Kedudukan antara keimanan dan kekufuran) dan, [v] Al-Amr Bi Al-Ma’ruf Wa Al-Nahy ‘An Al-Munkar
(Menyuruh yang makruh dan mencegah yang mungkar).
7. Nasionalisme ialah fahaman yang meletakkan hubungan bangsa, keturunan dan kaum sebagai asas pemikiran atau perjuangan atau
pemikiran yang mengutamakan asas kaum atau bangsa mengatasi perkara lain. Antara faktor atau asas yang membentuk fahaman ini ialah;
[i] Persamaan bangsa atau kaum, [ii] Persamaan bahasa dan, [iii] Persamaan tempat lahir, tanah air atau watan.
8. Sekularisme ialah fahaman, doktrin atau pendirian yang menolak nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam kehidupan sosial manusia atau pemikiran
yang mendorong supaya kehidupan ditegakkan atas asas bukan agama dan memisahkan agama dari dunia. Ini bererti bahawa dalam aspek
kehidupan seperti politik, pemerintahan, pentadbiran dan sebagainya harus berdasarkan sekularisme iaitu tanpa kaitan agama
