POSSIBLE DESIGN OF THE SOLUTION

The application should be able to provide features that represent proper gardening
to the users. Garden design is based on garden planning, applying landscape
garden design theory, and comprehensively utilizing scientific, technical, and
artistic means to protect and create outdoor environments. The entire scene and
environment need to be represented. (Zhao, 2021) Despite all these concepts that
need to be applied to the application, the user must be able to understand how to
use the app and what to do in simple terms. The app should be able to provide
proper recommendations and instructions for the user regarding their garden
planning.

Figure 1.1 shows the interface of the application

during the landscaping modeling process of the user.
The user would be able to layout their garden size
using grid sizing, but the application should be able
give proper distance placing that the user may want to
take note of and have the option to have it taken off if
it is blocking in their point of view.

Figure 1.2 shows another feature of

the application where the user would
be able to name the plants, seeds,
pots, or anything that is needed or
should be taken note of. They would
be able to assign names to colors or
shapes of choosing for better
interface.

Figure 1.3 is an example of how the application would
look like and designed in terms of implementing a
timetable for the user. The application used in the figure is
named “Classup”. It is an application meant for students to
help organize their scheduled classes, organize notes,
tracking and communication. The same can be applied for
the application for optimization in gardening as to give a
better management and organizing autonomy for the users.

The users would be able to easily setup for timetables to

follow for their plants that needs more attention regarding
watering, fertilizing, and other details that is important in
growing plants. These details that a user may input to
different time and days. The users may also be able to put
up notes to write down observations and further
improvements they may be able to add to their garden or
plants.
