SUBJECT:
IMPLEMENTATION OF ADS-B OUT IN THE UAE AIRSPACE

REFERENCE PUBLICATIONS:
CAR-OPS 1.867 ADS-B (OUT and IN) a)

APPLICABILITY:
This Safety Decision shall be applicable up to 02 December 2021, unless otherwise specified.

Any other provision that contradicts this safety decision shall be suspended until 02 December 2021.

This Safety Decision does not alleviate the requirement for the implementation of ADS-B OUT compliant when
required by other foreign State.

INTRODUCTION:
This Safety Decision is updated to inform aircraft operators that requirement for the mandatory implementation of
ADS-B OUT DO260B compliant as per CAR-OPS 1.867 a) is postponed to 02 December 2021.

REQUIREMENTS:
An operator shall not operate an aeroplane under IFR after 02 December 2021, unless it is equipped with ADS-B OUT.
