entitled "READING AND WRITING SKILLS/PERFORMANCE OF

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADE IV SECTION B AT PARANG
MAGUINDANAO S.Y. 2022-2023"

This study was about "READING AND WRITING


SKILLS/PERFORMANCE OF ELEMENTARY PUPILS IN MACARIMBANG
ALEGADO MEMORIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADE IV SECTION B
AT PARANG MAGUINDANAO S.Y. 2022-2023". Descriptive design war
used in describing the data gathered. Random sampling with equal
allocation was also used in determining the respondents of the study.
Descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean and frequency were used
to interpret and analysed the data collected.

Factors affecting the reading and writing performance of the


respondents when classified into:
-a. Teacher factors
-b. pupil factors
-c. parents factors
-d. government policy's factors
In the teacher's factors, " Teachers experience, she gender and
qualification" were the factors that affects the great, as we will find out
later. In the parents factor, we considered that some cannot read and
don't have training to conduct a home study with their kids. In the
pupils' factor, attendance is the main trigger of their reading and writing
performance. In the government's policy (pandemic) is the main root
cause of the pupils reading and writing performance outcome.
