Conclusion:
In the context of the Spanish colonization of the Philippines for 333 years, we cannot argue that they made significant
contributions to the development of our country. As a matter of fact, many of their works have become a component
of our everyday lives. But as time passed, their real motivations became clear. They broke their promise to the
Filipinos and began to exploit their predicament for their own benefit and success. During the period of colonization,
unfairness, slavery, and starvation prevailed. Filipinos' freedom has been taken out of their own country, which is
why it is known as 'Dilim'. Living in the days before colonization is preferred because Filipinos were one and ruled
solely by the Datu of each barangay. They lived simply and freely, with success and fairness.
