1. Define & Describe RECREATION in your own words based on what you’ve learned and
experienced about recreational activities.
Based on what I’ve learned and experienced, recreation means being able to enjoy
something that you want doing. It makes you feel relax. It boosts your energy and will
also help you become more active and healthy.

2. Why is it important to be active and partake in recreational activities?

It is very important to engage yourself in recreational activities as it would make one
become healthy. These activities serve as means of relaxation. They enhance holistic
development and reduce risks of health problems.

3. In the new normal of education, some or most of us had limited space, time, resources,
and connectivity at home. With our current situation, we are mandated to strictly follow
the protocols for our safety and security. With this, how are you going to
ENCOURAGED and PROMOTE recreational activities across all ages within your
community in this time of pandemic?

I think we can promote and encourage everyone to participate in different recreational

activities by using social media. Social media is very useful nowadays since we are in a
pandemic state. I think we can share some news articles or blog posts about one’s
recreational programs. We can also share recorded videos of us doing some
recreational activities at home.
