ULTRASONOGRAPHY OBSTETRIC (SCREENING )

Bulky gravid uterus with single well defined oval shaped gestation sac within the
endometrial cavity. Good decidual reaction seen around the gest. sac. No evidence of any

obvious chorionic separation or collection seen at present.

Fetal pole is not seen at present. Yolk sac not seen.

GS 25.9 mm 7 weeks.
Cervix appears normal
Bilateral adnexa appear normal. No solid or cystic mass lesion seen.
No obvious focal lesion in the myometrium. No fluid in pouch of Douglas.

IMPRESSION: Single intrauterine gestation of 7 weeks.

Fetal pole is not seen at present. No yolk sac seen.
(Blighted ovum).
Advise: Repeat USG scan may be done after 2 weeks.

Please correlate clinically.
